CT Ingenieros, is the largest private engineering services provider in Spain, and a leader in mechanical engineering services. With more than 600 engineers in Spain, France, Germany and Portugal, the company works with the 200 largest industrial companies in the aeronautical, automotive, railway, naval, industrial plants and renewable energy sectors.

The company has a very stable work force of engineers and specialty draftsman, with a great dose of enthusiasm to be part of the most innovative industrial programs in Europe. The company mission is “To provide engineering solutions that will made our clients more effective and competitive”.

Our services are performed primarily in “work package” or “turnkey” mode at a fixed price, based in a statement of work (SOW) that contains the scope, the planning and deliverables of the project. We also work in “technical assistance” or Outsourcing, where our engineers work at the customer´s site integrated in joint working teams. Both working modes contain the following three blocks of engineering services:

Product Engineering

Includes the engineering activities mainly related to definition and development of products. These are engineering activities that go from the investigation R&D, conception and definition of products such as cars, planes, trains, etc. until the manufacturing drawings are fully defined. For example, here is included design conceptualization, detail engineering, structural stress validation and dimensioning, etc.

Manufacturing Engineering

Includes all of the activities dedicated to the industrialization o a product, that is after the product is defined in models or drawings and until the product comes out of the assembly line. For example, these are activities of process planning, tool design, assembly support, digital manufacturing, line balancing, simulation, etc.

Post-sales engineering

Includes all of the activities to be performed after the product has been fabricated or sold. Here we find for example activities related to engineering logistics, technical manuals, maintenance manuals and the activities related to the certification of the product, first flight documentation, etc.

CT Ingenieros was formally founded in 1994, although the engineering activity had already been operational since 1989 within CAD TECH Iberica. CT Ingenieros started providing product design services in 1989 as part of CADTECH´s Professional Services department. In 1994 CT Ingenieros was created to separate the engineering activities that CAD TECH Iberica had been providing till then. The growth and further development of our services has allowed us to perform engineering activities in almost all areas within mechanical engineering field. That exposure has allowed us to build a team of specialists capable of analyzing problems from multiple perspectives; the functional design, structural robustness, manufacturability or how to make it, maintainability, and so on. This interdisciplinary vision is what contributes to the design of consistent and robust products that works to the satisfaction of our customers.

We always keep in mind that in the engineering activities in which we operate, flexibility and the ability to adapt to the customer are keys to succeed and influence the final result, in addition to the quality of our work. To achieve its mission CT Ingenieros has developed a strategic competitiveness program Based in four businesses keys:

  • To respect and to meet customer needs.
  • Insure quality of our work.
  • Take care of your key personnel.
  • Invest in innovation and training.

CT INGENIEROS has extensive experience managing very large engineering projects, and has completed several projects of more than 100,000 hours each and running over several years. Some examples of these are: development of a carbon fiber horizontal stabilizer, HTP, for Falcon 7X program of the company Dassault Aviation, four sections of the A380 belly fairing, and the support to the functional tests for Navantia vessels for the Spanish Navy or the program to convert an EADS A330 MRTT into a tanker developed for the Australian Air Force.
